You would've probably expected me to update my Blogspot as soon as I arrived at home after my day at the beach and city of The Hague. Well nope, because I was only home around 2:30 AM with dad and I spend the next day eating and watching films because I wasn't in the mood. I'm still not really in the mood, this week has just been so shitty, I just hate it.They say, what's down must go up and it does, but they don't mention the fact that 'once it's up, it always goes down' again. Oh bugger, I wish they would've told me earlier than I could've mentally prepared myself for this week, you know?
But either way, I was at The Hague and at the beach and it was lovely. Dad and I spend about 2 hours on the beach looking for shells and taking pictures. Because it was foggy and stuff, it looked really cool and the sun was coming half-way through and the weather wasn't cold; it was nice to walk around and just smell the sea and watch over nothing but water. The knowledge you have, it's weird. When you look at the sea, you just instantly think 'Oh hey water' but underneath there is a whole world we don't know. There's a whole fucking world under it; animals, long lost treasures whatsoever. It freaks me out.
Now, one thing you should know: Crossing Border is a festival for people who are intellectual really smart and loves to hear people read stories and poets.. Damn. The average age was about 35 I think. Ludo and I were the only younger girls, unless you also count the damn whole fanclub Ed Sheeran had. We left to the venue (yes, there were different kind of venues with people and bands) where Ed Sheeran was going to play and we waited, so we saw Loch Lomond and they were actually really good. The guy looked like a total hipster and there was another dude just sitting there doing nothing and randomly touching some instruments, and there was a girl playing the piano. We left and arrived on time for Ed Sheeran, we were about 3rd row I think? He was really awkward though and made some jokes. He started off with 'Give Me Love' which made my heart explode from the inside because it was amazing and also my favorite song from his album '+'. He followed up with Lego House.. I did hope for Rupert Grint to walk onto the stage and sing it, but no Rupert.
Then, the time of my life started. Patrick Wolf was doing a Meet & Greet. I'll just save you the details because it was awkward and I made him sign a Tea Towel for my mum and yes it reminds me of my mum and Patrick laughed at me while he was probably secretly judging me but hey, at least I wasn't wearing a wolf on my head, was I? No I was wearing cat ears!
I also met Ed Sheeran as well. He was cute and awkward and really cute but scary as well LOOK AT HIS HEAD SIZE DEAR LORD. He looks like this cute tiny ginger you want to have in your pocket all day long and just take care of aww. After meeting Ed (because we had too much time but not TOO much time because we had to head back for Patrick Wolf) we raced back and managed to get front row seats. I was just in the middle of the theater and when Patrick went through his knees I could grab his crotch if I wanted. So close guys!
